Once the SSL Certificate has been purchased, the following steps must be completed to get the Certificate.

Choose the type of domain validation
according to your needs, by following the instructions in the guide. |

Validate the domain
by following the relevant process for the validation method chosen (file .txt, change to DNS, etc.) in the previous step.

for the activation process to finish; the time required may vary depending on which type of Certificate you have chosen:
- DV: this type does not require any further checks: an SSL Certificate is generated immediately;
- OV: this type of Certificate requires a number of checks on the details that have been provided: the operator responsible for carrying out the checks may get in touch with you if necessary;
- EV: this requires the same checks as the OV SSL, so you may be contacted by the operator responsible for carrying out the checks.
To obtain an EV SSL Certificate you will need to download the form available by clicking on "Download PDF document", complete and send a signed copy via email to [email protected]
