How to check the status of an SSL Certificate

To see the statuses of your SSL Certificates:

  1. go to the company website and sign in to your Customer Area. For more details on how to sign in to the Customer Area, see the guide;  
  2. go to the Dashboard to view the list of your services. 
  3. A label is displayed next to each SSL Certificate showing its status

List of SSL Certificate statuses

An SSL Certificate can be assigned the following statuses: 

  • Activation in progress: the customer has started the certificate activation process; 
  • Verification: the Certification Authority (CA) is carrying out the necessary checks for issuing the Certificate;  
  • Active: the Certificate has been issued correctly;
  • Error: the Certification Authority (CA) has rejected the Certificate;
  • Cancelled: the customer cancelled the Certificate before verification had been completed; 
  • Expiring: less than 30 days remain before the Certificate expires; 
  • Expired: the Certificate has expired; 
  • Revocation requested: the Certificate is active but the customer has requested it be revoked; 
  • Revoked: the Certificate has been revoked.
