To renew an SSL Certificate:
- go to the company website and sign in to your Customer Area. For more details on how to sign in to the Customer Area, see the guide;
- in the Dashboard section, you will find a list of your services. Find the SSL Certificate you want to renew;
- go to Renew Certificate. This takes you to the shopping cart page where you can place your order and find fields precompiled with details provided in previous orders.
- Follow the steps indicated and complete the order. At this point, you can generate a new SSL Certificate.
If the old certificate expires after more than 30 days, the remaining days will be added to those of the new certificate.
If your SSL Certificate is linked to a domain hosted on Aruba, see the guide on how to top up keys and renew.
If your Certificate is for a subdomain, meaning a third-level domain, check that the CSR and the SSL Certificate are both configured for a subdomain. If you are using a Wildcard or SAN Certificate, the Certificate already covers subdomains as well.
Please note that verification may take several days, depending on the type of certificate being renewed.
For this reason, it is essential and mandatory to start the renewal process at least 10 days before the expiry date.
If the renewal is not requested within this timeframe, it will no longer be possible to renew the existing certificate and you will need to purchase a new certificate.
If an SSL Certificate expires, it can no longer be renewed. Buy a new certificate.
