How to set up a default payment method
- Sign in to your Customer area with your account username and password. If you’ve forgotten how to do this, see the guide to signing in to your Customer area;
- under Account settings, select Payment methods;
- select the payment method you want to set as default;
- enter the details required;
- select Add.
A default payment method is useful for speeding up your future purchases.
How to change the default payment method
- Sign in to your Customer area with your account username and password. If you’ve forgotten how to do this, see the guide to signing in to your Customer area;
- under Account settings, select Payment methods;
- choose the method you want to set as default from your saved payment methods and select Set as preferred payment method;
- read the message and select Confirm.
How to delete a default payment method
- Sign in to your Customer area with your account username and password. If you’ve forgotten how to do this, see the guide to signing in to your Customer area;
- under Account settings, select Payment methods;
- select the x icon next to the default payment method;
- read the message and select Delete payment method.
If you have a plan linked to the payment method you have deleted, the plan will not be renewed when it expires. Follow the instructions in the guide to set up a new default payment method.
