How to buy Code Signing

1. Go to the company website; 
2. select the Code Signing tab;
3. choose the service duration from the dropdown menu;
4. select Buy; 
5. you will find a summary of the services selected. To complete the order, go to Proceed with order. To add other items, select Continue shopping;
6. enter any discount code you may have and press Apply;
7. select Go to checkout;
8. if you have already registered, you will be asked to sign in with your user details or sign up as a new user; 
9. select the pencil icon next to Billing details; 
10. check the billing details entered or, if necessary provide them here; 
11. press Continue;
12. under Payment select the payment method. See this guide to learn about payment methods;  
13. at this point: 
    • if you have chosen Credit card, enter the details required, accept the terms and conditions and press Pay your order.
    • if you have chosen PayPal accept the terms and conditions, press PayPal, enter the details requested and complete payment. 

Validity of Code Signing certificates

Starting from March 1, 2026, a new CAB Forum rule will come into force that reduces the duration of Code Signing certificates: the maximum permitted validity for Code Signing certificates will change from 39 months (approximately 3 years) to 460 days (approximately 15 months) for all publicly trusted certificates.
This means that:

• new certificates or renewals issued from March 1, 2026 will not be able to have a validity longer than 460 days;
• Code Signing certificates issued before March 1, 2026 with a longer validity will remain valid until their natural expiration date, even if they exceed 460 days.
